Ever think "man, I love hockey" when you're on the golf course? Ever think "why can't I putt with a hockey stick like Happy Gilmore"? Ever just have time, a hockey stick and an extra putter and think "what am I going to do today"? Think no more :)
Let's build this thing together. What are we building? A DIY Hockey Stick Putter.
Step 1: Cut the hockey stick to length
Figure out how long you want the putter. This is completely personal preference. Depending on your height, or just how you want to stand while putting, cut it to the proper height

Step 2: Remove the putter grip
Use whatever tools or elbow grease is necessary to remove the grip from the putter. This grip is what you are essentially replacing with the hockey stick. It has no use here.

Step 3: Slide the hockey stick over the putter and seal the bottom
As you're about to read, you're about to pour epoxy into the hockey stick to connect the parts together. You don't want epoxy running onto the floor, so plug the bottom and seal it with tape.
Step 4: Mix epoxy and pour in
Mix epoxy 1:1 with water (actually, you should follow the instructions on the epoxy packaging to avoid looking foolish to your friends), and pour the epoxy into the top of the hockey stick. This is what binds the putter with the stick shaft and creates that unique feel of a hockey stick on the putting green. Give it sufficient time to dry, again following the instructions on the epoxy packaging.

Step 5: Add a grip
Add whatever hockey stick grip that you want. Tape it up, it's your putter after all!
You're done, enjoy!! Check out the video we made while making this awesome addition to our golf bag.
